ALL THAT RECKONING LP OUT NOW VIA LATENT RECORDINGS

WORLD TOUR DATES CONTINUE OCTOBER 10

“Over 30 years into their career, ‘All That Reckoning’ shows Cowboy Junkies in peak form, adding another inspired, alluring album to their repertoire.” - Associated Press

“From acoustic warmth to electric rage, all their strengths are here, with Margo Timmins continuing to display a striking ability to sound at once reassuring and battle-scarred. Few other groups have maintained an unchanged lineup for more than three decades while cultivating such a devoted fan base and managing to keep the industry at arm’s length.”
- The Montreal Gazette

“All That Reckoning is all the more surprising for how relevant it sounds, for how well it surveys our current climate, most crucially for how it suggests that the band’s defining traits—the quiet vocals, the erratic guitars, the menacing mid-tempo jams—are specifically calibrated to speak to this very moment.” - BGS

“For over three decades now, Michael Timmins has been a master storyteller and poet” - Domionated

“it’s equal parts tenderness and edge, sensual and beautifully disturbing."  - 5 Stars, MOJO

“Expertly demonstrating what makes ‘All That Reckoning’ such an essential part of Cowboy Junkies discography. … simple, passionate and visceral.”  - Exclaim!

Today, Cowboy Junkies are sharing the new video for “Mountain Stream” from their latest album, All That Reckoning, out now via Latent Recordings. "The song is an allegory about aging...about lost dreams and missed opportunities,” says Michael Timmins. “It's based on the William Blake poem ‘The Angel’ and like the poem, it is set in a dream state. So I wanted the video to reflect that dream state...I think Lynne Kittredge (video director) captured the mood perfectly in her inimitable style".

All That Reckoning is a collection of songs that encourages the listener to take notice. It also may be the most powerful album Cowboy Junkies have yet recorded. AP claimed that the album shows the band “in peak form, adding another inspired, alluring album to their repertoire,” MOJO called it “equal parts tenderness and edge, sensual and beautifully disturbing," while Exclaim! said it was “an essential part of Cowboy Junkies discography. … simple, passionate and visceral.”

Anyone who has been following Cowboy Junkies’ three decade-long journey knows the band has always traveled on its own path. In 1988, Cowboy Junkies proved that there was an audience waiting for something quiet, beautiful, and reflective. The Trinity Session was like a whisper that cut through the noise -- and it was compelling. All That Reckoning is the follow up to 2013’s Polaris Music Prize Long-Listed The Kennedy Suite and with it Cowboy Junkies once again gently shake the listener to wake up.
