Today, River Tiber, the Toronto vocalist, producer, and multi-instrumentalist also known as Tommy Paxton-Beesley, shares the new single “Nevada”, a song about “embracing the unknown, leaning into the feeling of being lost, finding love in the most unlikely of places,” says River Tiber. “The chords and melody came to me suddenly. I was listening to a lot of Marvin Gaye like always.”

“Nevada” follows the release of “Taurus”, arguably River Tiber’s most serene work yet, and last year’s subdued but tension-laden single “Deep End”, both acting as mile markers on the road toward his sophomore full length, anticipated later this year.

Like “Taurus”, “Nevada” continues River Tiber’s tradition of crafting nearly every element of the music himself - writing, recording, producing, as well as performing vocals, guitar, bass, synth, piano, and violin. His range of talents has kept him at the core of a group of collaborators that includes Daniel Caesar, BADBADNOTGOOD, Charlotte Day Wilson and producer Frank Dukes. Through extensive work with Dukes and others, River Tiber has appeared via feature or sample on releases by Travis Scott, SZA, Mac Miller, Usher, PARTYNEXTDOOR, Post Malone, Jhene Aiko, Ty Dolla $ign, Kaytranada, BadBadNotGood, and many more.
